Indianapolis maintained its standing as the most affordable major U.S. housing market for the 12th consecutive time, according to the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Opportunity Index (HOI)..Some 91.6 percent of Indianapolis homes sold were affordable to families earning the area's median household income of $65,100

 

·         When it comes to racing, Indianapolis takes the checkered flag every time. Commonly referred to as the "Racing Capital of the World," Indianapolis hosts the two largest single-day sporting events in the world: the Indianapolis 500 and the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard!

 

·         Indianapolis was listed as one of the Top 10 "Best Cities for Jobs" in 2008. (Forbes, January 2008)
